Danielle Ionesi holds a bachelor's degree in nursing and is a licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Washington. She has been working with 1st CHOICE Advisory since 1995. She is passionate about advocating for older adults in all types of care settings, leading the effort through legislation in expanding residents' rights and services in long-term care.
Danielle's knowledge of the senior care industry is extensive, having served as a faculty instructor with Highline College and North Seattle CC, teaching future care providers the key aspects in residential care.
Danielle and her husband have operated a care home for thirty years. Danielle is active in her church life and has strong bonds with her family and extended family.

1st Choice provided our family tremendous guidance and support during a hectic and stressful period. Ultimately, 1st Choice, and specifically, the timely and diligent work of RN/Housing and Care Advisor Danielle Ionesi, immediately located an outstanding Adult Family Home (Ivanhoe Senior Care). She had 4 prospective places for us to tour within a day or two and she was unselfish in taking time on a Sunday to meet with us, explain the process, answer questions and introduce us to the owners of the AFHs. The selection of homes suited the needs of our elderly aunt who needed immediate placement, and the AFH selected has been an outstanding match. We are very fortunate for the work provided by 1st Choice.

Not knowing anything about adult family homes, Danielle showed my daughters and myself 3 homes and an assisted living facility. Seeing as I wasn't sure all the questions to ask, she chimed in with questions that helped us determined the best fit for my wife. She was thoughtful, followed up with me until we made the decision for my wife's care. I greatly appreciate Danielle's help and experience.
