Rachel holds a dual bachelor's degree in human resources management and hospitality management from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She is also certified by the Miller Heiman Group, which expanded her understanding of what it means to provide quality service.
Rachel is a philanthropist at heart, volunteering for the Alzheimer's Association, Hope Dementia, and Senior Heroes Award programs.
Rachel was born and raised in Vancouver. She began her career in senior living by accepting a Director of Community Relations position in a Senior Care Community. She has worked on both the DHS and DSHS side ranging from independent living, assisted living, enhanced assisted living, residential care facility, and memory care settings as the Director of Admissions. In 2023 we were finally able to recruit Rachel to join us as a Housing & Care Advisor position with 1st CHOICE.
Helping families navigate the senior care process is Rachel's primary focus. Rachel excels at being able to hold the hands of families during these emotionally paralyzing times. Guiding families and all those seeking services for their loved ones. Rachel loves people and thoroughly enjoys what she does.
On the personal side, she, her husband and son enjoy fishing, going to the movies and absolutely love game nights with friends!

We were referred to Rachel at First Choice by my mom's rehab services facility. My mom's insurance had ordered her discharge but her current assisted living facility did not offer the level of care she now required. Upon contacting Rachel, she immediately began a search for a new care facility for my mom. Within 3 days my mom was in her new home. There is not near enough room to detail how much Rachel did to help my brothers and I make this happen so quickly. Rachel and First Choice obviously have top of the line relationships with local resources. We believe we could not have been in better hands.

I had the pleasure of taking a tour with Rachel L from First Choice Advisory Services. Not only was she knowledgeable, she was energetic and she knew exactly what my loved one would want in a community. I highly recommend her.
