About CHOICE Advisory
Since 1993, we’ve been helping older adults and their families get to know the senior housing & care options available in our community.
Our services to seniors and their families are free. We are financially supported by the senior housing & care industry.
It’s time to call a CHOICE Advisor:
- When home is no longer practical or safe
- When health suffers from poor nutrition or missed medications
- When social isolation leads to boredom and depression
- When family and friends are voicing concerns
WHO WE SERVE
- Adult children helping their elderly or frail parent move into a care situation
- Spouses who can no longer meet the high demands of caregiving at home
- Powers of attorney working on behalf of an elderly family member or friend
- Seniors living alone and in need of companionship and care
Housing and/or care services must be paid through private funds or long-term care insurance benefits
HOW WE WORK
1st CHOICE exists because the options available to seniors in our community are vast and ever changing. By working with an advisor, you will receive a tailored list of options that matches your needs, interests and situation as closely and appropriately as possible.
WE’RE WITH YOU EVERY STEP OF THE WAY
Step 1: We receive your request for help.
Step 2: One of our advisors will follow up with your request, either by phone or by arranging an in-person meeting.
Step 3: We’ll define the options you’ll want to consider. We can provide you with a written list of options that you can visit on your own, or we can contact the senior living communities on your behalf.
Step 4: We’ll accompany you on your visits or we can coordinate your tour of the senior living communities.
Step 5: We are available by phone or in person to answer your questions and to follow up with you after your selection is made to ensure that you are satisfied with your selection.
